Busy week...

I spent the weekend in Sydney where I met my lovely new nephew and caught up with my very cute niece.. we had a wonderful relaxing Mothers day and the weather was perfect.. I was very excited to be able to take my knitting on the plane.. yes they have finally agreed that knitting needles are not dangerous! The excitement of being able to craft on a flight! But what was I thinking.. I have a 20month old who can't sit still.. so it was an hour of drawing, eating, reading and singing instead (I still had fun!) So I guess I will stick to knitting on my train journey to and from work.. hopefully my baby will get her lovely Debbie Bliss patchwork blanket completed soon!
Now have you read Handmade Marketplace by Kari Chapin? You should. There are many handy and useful tips on making money out of being creative.. Very handy! I also read this on my train journey (it's the only real free time I get!) and this afternoon I read that blogs should have photos.. I'm a bit lazy in this respect but I am trying :) So here is a picture of a gorgeous Japanese Craft book my sister in law bought me - I'm not sure of the title and I can't read the instructions, but it doesn't matter because it's FULL of beautiful pictures and lovely sewing patterns for these cute CUTE dresses for little girls.. thank you Eva x
