I love fresh air..

How can it possibly be July in a few days.. this year has sped.. but this month! The first week in June was spent in Hong Kong.. it was hot, humid (95% to be exact) and busy.. we spent a day across the border in ShenZhen which was fantastic.. my poor baby put up with alot, but she was also thoroughly spoilt by her grandmother and aunts.. for the days we battled the noise and crowded streets of Kowloon, we balanced it out with a some fun in the hotel pool which she loved.. all in all it is generally a much cleaner place and you do get used to the pollution.. but when we landed back in Sydney, that COLD FRESH AIR was just beautiful. We really are lucky in that respect - clean air, parks and visible blue sky.. so although we've had a few frosty mornings in the last week or so, I have thoroughly enjoyed it :)

It was straight into the Shirt and Shirt Market last Sunday (and the North Melbourne Market today). The wet weather sent a few of the stall holders home but my friend Cindy who I share a stall with, managed to protect our goods even if it meant huddling in the middle of the marqui when it got a bit drizzly.. there is something cosy about wrapping up warm and being out in the cold air.. next time though, I'm taking a thermos of hot chocolate!

So I am tired to say the least .. tomorrow it's back to my 'normal' job - I wish weekends were at least 3 days long (don't we all!)..

p.s I am just putting the finishing touches on my baby blanket.. I will include pictures of it in my next post.. but for now I'm going to watch The Good Wife with a nice cup of tea and some cake x
