Lots & lots of hugs..

Because I am a full time working mum, I am always conscious of making sure that when I am around, my precious little girl receives plenty of attention from me, I give her an endless amount of hugs and that we laugh a lot together.. I make sure we have lots of those secret just-my-mum-and-me moments.. I might as well do it now before she decides that she wants to spend more time with her friends!

So this weekend we drew, I am slowly trying to teach her the actual names for colours rather than always referring to the different coloured trains from Thomas the Tank Engine (which she loves!), we played on her swing, bounced on her trampoline, lay in bed together, made faces at each other and we even had just a girlie dinner together on Saturday night..

On Sunday we visited Mathilda's Market where I bought her some gorgeous gumboots for next winter.. I bought them from the lovely Sally from Little Elk.. They are the original kind, real rubber, and cartoon character free. I was tempted to get her the classic red but decided on this ice blue instead.. Perfect to splashing in puddles with!
